This Spectroquant\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Total Hardness Cell Test allows the accurate quantification of the hardness of water samples. The total hardness of a given sample is due to its content of salts of the alkaline earth metals calcium, magnesium, strontium, and barium (\u201chardening constituents\u201d).
