Application
Mercury(II) thiocyanate is a general reagent to catalyze the addition of thiocyanic acid (HSCN) across the triple bond of a variety of alkynes. It is also used in the synthesis of manganese mercury thiocyanate, an organometallic nonlinear optical crystal and mercury-based coordination polymers.
Quality
