Malt extract Yeast extract Glucose Peptone Agar

A medium suitable for the cultivation, isolation and maintenance of yeast, moulds and other aciduric microorganisms.

Preparation Note
Suspend 51g in 1 litre demineralised water. Boil whilst stirring until completely dissolved. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 45 – 50°C, mix well and pour plates.
