Description
General description
Application
Sodium acetate trihydrate can be used:
- As a reducing agent in the synthesis of graphene nanosheets via chemical reduction of GO (graphene oxide) under moderate condition.
- In the preparation of silicone/sodium acetate trihydrate hybrid.
- As a catalyst in the solvent free acetylation of phenols, alcohols and thiols with acetic anhydride.
