Description
Method
Organic halogen compounds are adsorbed to activated charcoal and subsequently digested after any adhering inorganic halides are washed out. The resultant halide is then determined photometrically.
The adsorption method is analogous to EN ISO 9562.

Applications
This test measures all organic halogen compounds that can be adsorbed to activated charcoal.
Sample material:
Treated wastewater (industrial and communal)
Treated electroplating wastewater
Treated chlorine-bleaching wastewater
